At Happy Tots Nursery, we believe that every day is a learning day and that learning is all around us. As well as being a place of learning, we pride ourselves on ensuring that children are coming into a loving, caring environment where they are valued and listened to. We also involve children and parents in trying to continually improve. We have a clear vision of what we want to achieve at Happy Tots Nursery:
Looking for a place where your child can learn and grow at their own pace? Do you seek an environment where your little one is safe to explore and discover the world we live in? LOOK NO FURTHER!
All 3 and 4-year-olds in England currently receive 15 hours a week government funded early education. If their parents are living and working in England, 3 and 4-year-olds may be entitled to 30 hours funded childcare, which is up to 1,140 hours per year in total! If eligible you will be entitled to access the 30 funded hours from the beginning of the term following your child’s 3rd birthday. We stretch the funding across 50 weeks as opposed to the term time 38 week period. For more information about how this scheme works, please come and see us.
An increase in the number of hours children attend can help prepare them for the transition to ‘big school’. Three and four year olds are especially keen to develop their social skills and a preschool environment can support this development especially well. A child who is "ready for school" has a zest for learning that is demonstrated by showing curiosity, learning by trial and error, seeks challenges, shows pride and satisfaction in meeting own goals.
For more information about eligibility criteria, please visit the Childcare Choices website or download the Department for Education eligibility document. For more information about 30 hours funding, please contact the nursery or call:
"Both my children went to Happy Tots and for both, it was an amazing experience. Staff are always helpful, kind and reliable with lots of activities, plenty of indoor and outdoor space, healthy food freshly/daily prepared. Also, the security of children is paramount. Highly recommend. "
"I would like to say that my son is having a good experience in the nursery. He has improved his speaking very much since he came here and staff are very helpful and kind to my son. He feels happy when he comes to nursery. I can see my son has improved his language and speaking, at the same time, he has lots of fun in the nursery. Also, the key person speaks to us every day about his day and what he has done through the day."
"For me, this is the best nursery we are really happy to see his progress. He's improved quite a lot even the doctors are really happy to see his progress. I am really grateful to all the staff, especially two of them. Many thanks."
